For the first time KinoAdelaide will offer ongoing support to Kabaret projects in their life after the workshop. We are currently in the progress of announcing the Post-Kabaret measures we hope to offer and look forward to updating this page as more come along.
All films made at the Kino Kabaret 2011 will be submitted by KinoAdelaide to Phil Ilson, artistic director of London Short Film Festival ahead of the opening of submissions. Ilson will consider all the films for the programme as a priority and any films that he selects will be screened to UK audiences at the London Short Film Festival in January 2012.
Phil Ilson also programmes short films for BFI London Film Festival, Branchage Film Festival and East End Film Festival.
KinoAdelaide will be offering challenges (subjects and themes for a short film) given from international Kino cells during the Kabaret. Any filmmaker bold enough to take on the challenge will get the chance to have the resulting film screened at the cell that offered the idea, along with a video introduction from the director.
This could mean your film screening to audiences in Paris, London, Vienna, Zagreb, Hamburg, Bratislava, etc, etc, etc.
